Dolphin Yacht Club
The Dolphin Yacht Club (DYC) has been a fixture at the Port of Camas-Washougal and a member of the local boating community since 1955. The DYC is a social group that practices fun, safe and responsible boating in the Northwest.
Activities include cruises, social gatherings and Columbia River Yachting Association (CRYA) events. For example:
- ★ Participation in the CRYA annual Parade of Boats during Opening Day of boating season, always the first Saturday in May;
- ★ Hosting Closing Day festivities held annually the first weekend in October at the Port of Camas-Washougal Marina;
- ★ Hosting the popular hospitality dinner for the Christmas Ships’ captains during their annual visit each December, when the lighted ships parade on the Columbia River to the delight of community residents and visitors, alike.
The Dolphin Yacht Club is located adjacent to the port office. To learn more about the Club and becoming a member, please visit their website at www.dolphinyc.com
